Essentials

  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • A high level of numeracy (GCSE pass in maths).
  • The ability to communicate adeptly in writing and verbally.
  • Possess good organisation skills.
  • The ability to deliver high standards of customer service.
  • At least a year of experience in a client service role.

What will my new role involve?

You will join a close-knit team offering outstanding customer service in one of the largest commercial printing firms in the South of England, with a diverse range of clients and ambitious growth plans. You will be:

  • Processing orders 
  • Answering queries over the telephone and via email
  • Liaising with clients on timelines and deliveries

Business Development/Client Services Representative

Due to continued expansion, we are now seeking to recruit a Business Development Executive for The Graphic Design House, which along with The Mailing People, is part of the Bishops Printers group of companies. We're proud to be one of the few businesses in the UK to be able to offer in-house design, print and mailing in a seamless end-to-end service.

What you'll need to succeed:

This is a rewarding and exciting role, the ideal candidate will have a positive and enthusiastic outlook with an eye for detail and a passion for winning business. Ideally you will have a keen interest in all things design and marketing led.

As well as enjoying the challenge of a target and reward environment, the position is suited for a well-organised, quick learner, who thrives on speaking to people both face to face and over the telephone. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also essential to this role.

Previous experience in a B2B or a client services style sales role is essential, although full product knowledge training will be given. The ideal candidate will have experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and will preferably have experience using a CRM system. As a Business Development Executive/Client services you will:

  • Work with warm leads to gather information and remind clients of the services we offer
  • Create and identify business opportunities through outbound calling and networking
  • Follow up on quotes and in-bound enquires
  • Be able to develop relationships to maximise revenue potential
  • Be self-motivated with a proven track record of exceeding targets and KPI's
  • Have an impeccable telephone manner
  • Manage customers expectations, whilst understanding their needs and requirements to give a consultative solution
  • Provide excellent customer service

What you will get in return

  • A starting salary from £28,000 per annum, rising with experience. OTE uncapped.
